One of the things that a friend of mine who met his girlfriend (now his wife) online told me was that after it was clear that they were a good match, they decided to plan a vacation together. For their first vacation, they went to the Dominican Republic (Punta Cana, and stayed at an Iberostar all-inclusive resort).
They had a blast, but the only thing that they both agreed on was that had they known that there was an adult-only version of the Iberostar (they stayed at Iberostar Punta Cana, which is totally family friendly and there were a lot of kids there with families), they would have preferred that. But, the fact that there WAS an awesome, family-friendly version was also good for them to know, because they each have small children from previous relationships.
So, with that in mind, we thought we would showcase a few “couples only” types of resorts and vacations in this article: All Inclusive Resorts (Perfect for Couples!)
Also, because many of our readers are likely to be in the same situation as my friends, and have children from other relationships, at some point you are likely to want to have the kids join you on outings and school breaks, etc. Here are some ideas for you in this article, and since at least one of you is likely to be Hispanic, let’s explore some getaways with a cultural theme: Family Vacation Ideas for Latino Couples
